Human Resources /Payroll Coordinator at Holbrook

Job Description

Human Resoures/Payroll Coordinator
Four Seasons Sunrooms, a quality product range of windows, sunrooms, siding and more has immediate opening for experienced Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator for our corporate office in Holbrook.
 

Duties:

 

  • Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and 401(k) deductions
  • Maintain, edit  and download of time and attendance via KRONOS timekeeping system for completeness and accuracy
  • Process weekly and bi-weekly multi-state payrolls using ADP Pay Expert for Union and non-union employees
  • Process weekly and bi-weekly Canada payroll using ADP PC Payroll
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, 401(k), headcount) for management
  • Obtain payroll data including salary adjustments, special payments, tax allocation and employee deductions and to set schedules
  • Maintain current on Payroll systems to achieve alignment with HR benefits
  • Maintain employee files
  • Maintain recordkeeping for Union vacation, welfare and union dues
  • Process monthly invoices for Life Insurance, STD, LTD along with Union Welfare, Initiation fee and union dues
  • Assist in Human Resources functions along with upkeep of HR/Payroll data on ADP Pay Expert, ADP PC Payroll and Kronos

Job Requirements

Requirements:

 

  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated and works independently with minimum supervision
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter; able to identify areas of weakness and suggest improvements
  • Strong knowledge of Report Writing/ADP Reporting
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws a must
  • Good time management skills
  • Able to maintain confidential information
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Work experience in a manufacturing work environment
  • Knowledge of Union Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point
  • 3 years  of ADP payroll experience required
  • ADP Pay Expert, ADP PC Payroll  and Kronos experience a plus
