Job Requirements

Panera Bread’s Assistant Manager’s role is to assist the General Manager in managing the day to day operations of the bakery-café.  This includes assisting in the efforts to create and maintain the Panera culture and values.  It also includes assisting with the management of the financial and operations aspects of the bakery-café leading to financial profitability, while delivering Panera warmth to our guests and fellow employees.  At Panera we believe that profit creates possibility.  You can help create that possibility by assisting in planning and implementing the details of a successful shift.  In addition, you are responsible for at least one facet of the bakery-café operations to help bring together all aspects which results in a profitable everyday oasis for all of us and a rewarding career for you.
