- Implementing approved marketing strategies by coordinating with IT, Operations, Finance,Sales, and Product Development to meet corporate revenue objectives.
- Managing ongoing relationships and negotiating agreements with external partners for the purpose of lead generation and industry information.
- Monitoring industry for possible new partners and joint ventures to increase Paychex revenues.
- Working with Channel Marketing managers to maximize the impact those channels have on our communications and business development opportunities.
- Representing the company through active participation in industry trade associations and trade shows for the purpose of obtaining new clients.
- Participating in product launch projects to support the marketing and sales efforts.
- Acting as project manager/lead to assure marketing plans and actions are being implemented.
- Developing and implementing positioning, distribution, and promotional strategies to increase market share and profitability in close coordination with Sales, Operations, and Finance.
- Supervising and training marketing analysts to assure the departments goals are met.
- Providing advice and guidance to less senior marketing managers.
- Monitoring competition and identifying and analyzing significant changes to support revenue goals. Using constructive thinking and innovative solutions to recognize trends and to develop marketing plans to support revenue goals.
- Monitoring ongoing client behavior and satisfaction and implementing communications strategy to address problems and opportunities.
- Developing and presenting annual marketing plans, brand strategy, and recommended changes to senior management to support the attainment of the corporate revenue plan.
- Discovering, qualifying, and analyzing information from various sources to make informed business decisions and actions regarding market intelligence, competitive intelligence, and market research all in support of the revenue goals.
Job Requirements
A minimum of 8 years business experience, including 2 yearsinsurance industryexperience and 2 years management experience is required.Consideration may be given to a candidate with a degree in lieu of experience.
