Job Description

PARTS STOCK CLERK
The Parts Stock Clerk ensures accurate receipt of incoming parts orders and assists packing of outbound orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Check in daily parts orders and place into inventory.
Report any shortages, overages and damages to parts manager.
Pull customer orders to meet parts delivery schedules.
Assist delivery drivers in loading and unloading of parts.
Report all stock outages or quantity discrepancies to parts manager.
Participate in perpetual inventories as directed by management.
Assists with other duties within the parts department.
Conduct will call or emergency purchase delivery duties.

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year of experience in an automotive parts department.
One (1) year of sales experience
ASE Certification or able to complete the ASE certification program for parts counterpersons.
Maintain current knowledge of vehicle operation, warranties, campaigns, and other service information such as state lemon laws, Technical Service Bulletins and PANT bulletins.
Professional personal appearance
Ability to work well with the public, sometimes several customers at a time.
