Provide support to one or more Residential Loan Officers to facilitate the timely review and submission of completed mortgage loan application packages, including supporting documentation required to process loan request. Act as liaison between loan officer and processing team to obtain necessary documentation and condition requests. Forwards application packages to Residential Lending within specified times in order to meet regulatory requirements for initial disclosures and timely processing as required under Regulation B and RESPA. Reviews and submits borrower conditions, monitor file for outstanding items and keep Residential Loan Officer informed as to status. Provides ongoing support for compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and administrative duties. *Minimum 3 years residential loan processing experience in a mortgage banking company or related financial institution required.*Minimum 3 years of experience working with FNMA guidelines and standard industry guidelines required.*Minimum 3 years of experience with state and federal lending regulations (e.g. Respa, Reg Z, Ecoa, State Fair Lending) required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good analytical skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail. Utilizes independent judgment under general supervision. Interacts with clients, title companies, escrow companies, insurance agencies, and other outside lending institutions to obtain information and/or request documents. Considerable knowledge of the job and the practical application to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Knowledge of general banking operations sufficient to understand the loan function and knowledge of Federal and State loan documentation regulations required. Limited supervision; no instructions needed on routine work, and general instructions given on new lines of work. *Represents basic qualifications for the position.
