Senior Associate - Product Control at New York

Job Description

Leading Wall Street firm looking for a (Senior) Associate to join its product control team in Lower Manhattan.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Daily P&L production for the equities business;
- Reviewing P&L models;
- Monitoring cash flow and collateral requirements;
- Maintaining control of the firm’s books and records including all sub-ledgers;
- Month-End closing of the firms books and records, including P&L, balance sheet and balance sheet substantiation;
- Price Verification;
- Profitability analysis and attribution;
- Implementation of accounting pronouncements and fair value policies;
- Interfacing with other areas of the Firm including Tax, Financial Reporting, Corporate Treasury, Operations, Technology, Risk and Accounting Policy;
- Compliance with various internal and external reporting requirements;
- Extensive interaction with the desk;
- Various tactical and strategic systems projects.

Job Requirements

Candidates should have approximately 3-5 years experience in either Public Accounting or a large financial institution.

CPA and/or MBA preferred
