Company operates under many very well known Luxury Goods brands. They are seeking someone that has 6+ years of Financial Analyst experience within a similar industry (Retail/Wholesale/ Consumer Products).Primary responsibility encompasses support of Trade Marketing financial activities (key account focus), including, but not limited to financial planning, analysis, accounting and reporting. An integral part of the role will be commercially oriented financial evaluations, plans, productivity measures (at point of sale) and ROI analysis. Secondary responsibilities will encompass more general needs within the Finance department. Financial Planning, Analysis, Accounting and Reporting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of the annual Budget 1.Key account spending plans to be developed in conjunction with Trade Marketing department Responsible for ensuring adequate processes and controls are in place to monitor and execute the agreed upon commercial support plans Provide monthly key account profitability analysis Develop periodic ROI calculations to demonstrate effectiveness and financial viability of various trade related support initiatives Analyze multiple class of trade distribution strategies to assist in the development of launch and new distribution strategies Analyze key account business type performance and the implications on sales, sell-thru and profitability Provide monthly accounting support related to the month end closing process which ensures and accurate recognition of expenses by brand and key account Support the Trade Marketing department in the development of retail sales projections Follow key account performance & probability; make recommendations for sales improvement options and investment optimization Prepare periodic key account business review presentations (P&L, ROI, KPI statistics) Support management by highlighting implication of operational decisions on financial performance Streamline reporting processes to improve efficiencies
