REO Claims Senior Rep, at Buffalo

JOB FUNCTIONS:
The primary responsibilityof this candidate is to closely monitor the status of FNMA loans post liquidation. This candidate is required to work closely with the outsource claim vendors to ensure property claim submission time lines meet investor guidelines. This candidate will ensure that the outsource vendors meet contractual service level agreement (SLA) timelines to submit claims to FNMA and the Mortgage Insurance Companies. In addition, this candidate is responsible for the referral of loans to close out once all investor claim proceeds are received and applied at loan level in MSP.
Specific responsibilities of the position include:
Monitor weekly pipeline reports to include foreclosure sales and short sales
Weekly reporting to REO management of controllable and uncontrollable aged pipeline.
Minimize losses through identification of Third Party recoverable sources.
Completion and submission of FNMA claims when required.
Ensure taxes, utilities and HOA dues are maintained through investor REO sale
Work closely with foreclosure attorney to expedite resolution of title liens
Assist to procure documentation for investor claim submission
Work with foreclosure attorney to prepare loan payoff/reinstatement figures
Process notifications of invalid foreclosure sales
Monitor the status of the Mortgage Insurance Claim
Research/resolve remaining expense on loan after receipt of investor claim proceeds
Refer loans to close out timely
Respond timely to all mailbox inquires
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree with accounting principles preferred
FNMA investor claim experience preferred not required
Knowledge of LPS MSP preferred
1+ year mortgage banking experience associated with cash transactions
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and computer skills including experience with MS Excel.
Deadline driven, dedicated and self motivated.
Highly organized and time management sensitive
