ER25 - Electrical Engineering Technician at Penn Yan

Job Description

Our client a manufacturing plant in Penn Yan, NY is looking for a contract employee in a night shift capacity.

The following skill set is being required:

-Mechanical experience using Power and Hand tools.

-Minimum H.S Diploma or GED

-History of working in a related Maintenance capacity.

- Experience using diagnostic testing equipment VOM, Ammeter Etc...

- Positive Attitude with Strong Desire to learn new skills and take on additional responsibility.

Ability to grasp and retain new concepts quickly and follow directions

Interested candidates should possess their own hand tools

In depth Electrical Knowledge of wiring methods and materials including the National Electric Code

Electrical/Electronic- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and relay ladder logic diagrams while troubleshooting

Hydraulic Experience Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics while troubleshooting and familiarity of basic hydraulic symbols. Past history of working on hydraulic equipment repairing: directional control valves, cylinders, vane pumps and motors.
