Job Description

• Experienced software professional with 10-15 years’ experience.
• Deep knowledge of the current client-side web technologies, clear understanding of development trends and evolution of the industry standards.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing large client-side code bases, including strong skills in debugging and performance tuning of JavaScript code.
• Unique know-how related to browser bugs, workarounds and troubleshooting techniques.

Important

• We need Someone that has focus on the UI side - extJS/jQuery/TreeGrid/etc and has been actively involved with those developer communities in terms of contributing to the platform.
• What weve seen is that we lose a lot of time trouble-shooting browser/OS compatibility issues and other minor bugs - this is a key pain point were trying to address

Must Have Skills

Extensive Ext-JS experience, Javascript experience, and CSS experience

Web

• JavaScript: prototypes, closures, memory leaks, profiling, versions/engines
• CSS: bugs/workarounds, box sizing, layouts, selectors, vendor-specific attributes
• HTML/DOM: doctypes, XHTML, html5, events, reflow/repaint, performance

 

Programming

• Languages: JavaScript
• Systems: NT/2000/XP/Vista/7, OS X, iOS (iPhone)
