Chem Rx also has pharmacies in Albany, New York and South Plainfield, New Jersey. Chem Rx services facilities within a 150-mile radius of each site. We have expertise in serving many industries and provide prescription and non-prescription drugs, intravenous medications, durable medical equipment items and surgical supplies for approximately 55,000 residents.

We will tailor the packaging of drugs, delivery schedules, reporting, formulary and information technology needs to best suit your facility.

Responsibilities:

Entering new and refill prescription orders into the computer data base
 
Check for drug to drug interactions; as well as; drug allergies
 
Handle billing coverage
 
Responsible for the required information needed on a prescription to process accurately
according to all regulations

Understanding the importance of accuracy, cut-off times, and attendance

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Ability to alert Pharmacist for any interactions found

Working knowledge of prescription tracking software and programs

Experience and knowledge of medical and drug terminology strongly desired

Someone who can take responsibility and is dedicated to customer service and our patients

Be able to demonstrate Chem Rx Core Values of Excellence, Integrity, Service, and Compassion

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 1 year experience

Excellent Oral and written communication skills
