Summary:
Gilbertis looking for a talented and experienced sales executive to join our fast-growingArchitectural Interiors group. Our areasof expertise include luxury retail environments, shop-in-shops, corporateinteriors, and more. We currentlyservice a long list of satisfied high-end clientele all over North America andare looking to build upon this established success.
Our salesteam is supported by a very talented and seasoned in-house team of diverseprofessionals that form our in-house marketing, design, engineering andproduction departments.
Theprojects we sell are produced in our 125,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art productionfacility here at our Melville location.
We arelooking for motived, experienced, and skilled salespeople who are knowledgeableand experienced in large-scale and high-end projects, have existing books ofcontacts and proven track records within the industry for generating leads andclosing opportunities.

Responsibilitiesof this position Include:
· Prospectingand developing new relationships with companies, general contractors,architectural
designers and other sources for new business through cold calling,site visits, networking events, etc.
· Beavailable to travel as needed to events (company paid travel)
· Documentall new contact information and track sales activities
· Work closely with sales, design, and production managersto establish design goals, budget and
schedule for each new project and maintaincontact with client from inception to completion and beyond.
· Close opportunities, collect deposits and prepareproject agreements for client approval
·Supportclients and accounts as needed after normal work hours.

Job Requirements
• Bachelorsdegree (relevant field preferred)
• 6+years of B2B sales experience
• 3+years of sales experience in the commercial interiors industry
• Havea deep understanding of the commercial interiors industry, including design,
custom millwork, and general contracting
• Excellentworking knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Mobilecommunication proficiency (answering emails on the go, browsing, etc.)
• Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, including typing skills
• Providean existing database of contacts
• Provensales success in this industry
