Product Leader, U.S. Consumer Credit - Portfolio Optimization at Purchase

Job Description

The Product Leader, U.S. Consumer Credit Portfolio Optimization supports identification of opportunities and development of tactics to drive more spend on existing MasterCard consumer credit cards. Leveraging both internal and external data to benchmark, identify and quantify opportunities at the portfolio and Issuer level, the incumbent must have strong data analysis and critical thinking skills. Once a recommendation is developed, the incumbent will work with senior product mangers to develop solutions and support the deployment of these solutions by supporting sales teams with business cases and tactical plans. Tactical plans will require cross-functional development within the GP&S organizations and strong team building and interpersonal skills are critical to success.

Major Accountabilities
Support the development of the optimization strategy through opportunity sizing, competitive assessment, SWOT analysis, stake holder needs assessment, etc.
Measure and report on the performance of the optimization strategy and tactics by tracking progress against roadmaps and goals (i.e., transaction volume, tactical initiatives, pipeline ).
Partner with cross functional teams on asset development, reporting, budgeting, competitive intelligence and marketing.
Support U.S. region sales efforts through the development of effective sales presentations articulating optimization opportunities, development and deployment of MasterCard assets and partnerships and updated case studies.

Experience Required
5+ years of relevant experience within the payments industry, product management experience working with consumer products
Experience in strategy development or product management
Business acumen with the ability to provide clear business cases and presentations
Ability to oversee multiple projects and initiatives concurrently
Strong research and analytical skills
Strong presentation, written communication and influencing skills
Project management experience
Bachelors degree required with business focus desirable, MBA preferred
