INSIDE SALES ENGINEER

Nooney Controls Corp, Industrial valve and valve automation integrator is seeking a technical sales engineer to support existing customers in the power, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food & beverage and chemical industries. We are looking for a long term career minded individual with a strong mechanical background, preferably with a mechanical engineering degree. The position is a combination of technical problem solving, application engineering, order execution and organizational management all focused on excellent customer service. Job responsibilities include:

Fielding inquiries from customers in Western and Central NYS
Support sales effort of senior technical sales engineer
Specifications review
Compliance review
Cost analysis
Preparing quotations
Writing new sales work orders
Writing vendor purchase orders
Interfacing with vendors and home office for order expediting
Project tracking
Monthly progress reporting

Technical sales experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Product and application training will be provided regardless of experience. Energetic, highly organized, customer service oriented and personable are all necessary characteristics for this role. Excellent computer skills also required including Microsoft Word, Excel, & Power Point. Compensation is base plus commission and full benefits package.
