Job Description

Position Description: Lead business, process and data diagnostic activities to gather appropriate information and data needed to support solution development. Understand AIG data structures, Enterprise Data Management standards and ERM/GRA group data needs. Work closely with the lead of application development to design and develop the test bed and test scripts for quarterly data reload related testing activities. Maintain and enhance existing MS Access and VBA based GRA scenario analysis tool Serve as liaison between the user groups and the development teams, ensuring the best technical solutions are developed for the business needs. Help the development team understand business processes by creating diagrams and supporting documentation as needed. Interface with logical and physical data modeler to communicate data requirements and validate usability of database design Conduct reviews of project documents, including requirements, technical design and prototypes, test plan and test cases Assist with the testing and change management procedures. Participate in the modification request process and offer recommendations to the change control board.

Requirements Expert in analysis of large, complex datasets for profiling, reporting and testing purposes. Expert in writing complex native Oracle PL/SQL queries Ability to reverse engineer databases Expert in use of MS Access including table, query, form and module design Expert in use MS Excel including complex formulas, pivot tables, etc. Experienced in MS Access and Excel VBA coding for Office Automation Experienced with database technologies including Oracle and MS SQL Familiar with MS Access application development Familiar with use of querying tools such as Toad, Oracle SQL Developer, etc. Motivated, self-starter Good verbal and written language skills
