Tivoli/Site Minder Consultant at New York

Job Description



Reports to the Technical Lead for Identity and Access Management, serves as senior-level Tivoli Identity Manager Specialist responsible for supporting a complex TIM development. This includes building, maintaining and enhancing the Tivoli Directory Integrator (TDI) connectors, assembly lines, identifying workflows and relevant user interfaces, and performing maintenance and support on the underlying environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains the enterprise identity management infrastructure, including but not limited to monitoring server update, performing patching, maintaining backups and configuration management for all identity management components.
Responsible for the developing, designing and customizing adapters, assembly lines, and provisioning policies needed to automatically create, manage, and delete user access to various system resources such as files, servers, and applications.
Performs considerable work in the development and implementation of workflows and data integration/transformations in an identity management system using a Tivoli Identity Manager (TIM) workflow engine.
Installs, configures and maintains end-to-end Tivoli Identity Manager Environment (TIM, WAS, TDS, DB2) on a Windows platform.
Develops, documents and implements applications to transform and load data between Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directories, Resource Access Control Facility (RACF), SQL Server, DB2, Flat Files, Active Directory and custom in house applications.
Develops front-end user interfaces and back-end Java/J2EE logic for identity management applications using the TIM API and Web Services interfaces.
Establishes service specifications to other systems including permissions modification, deletion, role definitions, reclassification and other similar access management related functions.
Translates the business processes currently used for granting user rights and privileges to DOE applications into deliverable technological solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

Hands-on project experience designing and implementing Tivoli Identity Manager Components as well as custom identity workflows, resource provisioning and role based access controls.
Must be able to write custom code into workflows, assembly lines, and applications.
Hands-on project experience with IBM Tivoli Identity Manager and Tivoli Directory Integrator.
Experience in modifying system parameters and reading, interpreting and creating regular expressions.
Working knowledge and experience in JavaScript, Java, J2EE, JSP, Struts, SQL, DB2, Web Services, LDAP, XML, Active Directory, TIM, and TDI
Experience supporting servers and databases on which TIM and its supporting components are running, with a strong preference for Windows experience.
Experience in competing Identity Management products and in access management/Single Sign-On and federation products are a plus, particularly CA/Netegrity SiteMinder.
