Driver: Delivery & Route Sales Driver

 

At Nestle Waters, our Delivery/Route Sales Drivers, or Route Sales Representatives (RSR), main function is to effectively service all routed customers, provide pre-ordered products and up-sell additional products of interest. Each route and delivery day is unique and entails servicing our residential, retail and commercial customers. The primary role of the Route Sales Driver is to effectively service all dedicated accounts, regardless of type, in a safe, productive manner and with world class customer service.

 

Route Sales Driver responsibilities:

  • Operate a commercial vehicle (Class B truck) in a manner that ensures personal and public safety
  • Make an average of 40-70 stops per day to deliver pre-ordered products and up-sell your (dedicated account) customers on new and additional Nestle Waters products
  • Provide unparalleled, world class Customer Service to every individual encountered throughout the day
  • Load and unload your truck at beginning and end of shift, and consistently throughout the day (average daily routes have between 40-70 stops)
  • Make independent decisions in the best interest of the customer and company; interact professionally and personably with a diverse customer base; consistently display outstanding communication skills and product knowledge, and be able to efficiently and effectively resolve any customer issues or concerns

Job Requirements

Route Sales Driver requirements:

  • CDL B license with airbrake endorsement OR ability to secure (and maintain) a Class B CDL prior to employment
  • Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement) and possess a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Willing and able to work outdoors in various types of weather
  • Must be able to handle the physical demands of job safely – this includes entering/exiting your truck on average 70-80 times per day; repeatedly lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds 200 times per day (on average)
  • Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record and be willing to submit to and able to pass, a DOT physical and comprehensive background check that will include MVR and criminal checks as well as drug screening
