Senior FPGA Engineer at Syracuse

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior FPGA Engineer to join our client’s growing team.  They are an embedded systems engineering and electronics product engineering firm located in the Central New York area.  They provide customized solutions and products for their customers.  If you are looking for an environment where you can work on various projects, this is the opportunity you have been looking for.  You will be participating in the development of FPGA’s and hardware to meet customer/product requirements.  Strong background is required in VHDL programming, timing analysis and simulation, and FPGA-related circuit design.  Software experience is a strong plus.

 

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

 

Customer interface experience is a must.  Knowledge of embedded hardware design and development, design of high speed analog and/or digital circuits, design of PCB’s, design and implementation of FPGA’s using VHDL,  and integrating software and hardware systems.  Experience with TI DSP’s and Xilinx or Altera FPGA’s is preferred.
