IT Desktop Technician at Rye

Job Description

Our client is seeking a IT Desktop Technician in Rye, NY for a contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Primary scope is to support Sunset XP project, which is a conversion from Windows XP to Windows 7 OS.  This work is a hands-on support position.
• Technician will perform deployment of images to desktops/laptops and configure for user activity. This activity will be on new or existing equipment which may include but is not limited to data migrations and user setup.

Job Requirements

Required Skills: 

 

• 2-5 years of desktop support on Windows Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft product suite and Lotus Notes 8.5 client is required. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills are required must in order to work on day-to-day activities. 
• Must be willing to work in a team environment; and possess strong communication skills, including the ability to work with a variety of users.
