This person will be involved in multiple projects supporting various lines of business within investment banking and trading technology. On a daily basis the Oracle Production DBA be managing large scale projects and will be installing, configuring, tuning and troubleshooting on versions Oracle10g and 11g. They will also be working with Dataguard, RAC, Database Backup and Recovery solutions including RMAN, Backup ScriptsThis is a long-term opportunity with room for growth and to work on multiple projects. Again this is a mission critical project and you will be exposed to Fixed Income markets as well as Clearance and Settlement. Candidates should be available to interview within 48 hours.Experience/Skills required:- 10 + years experience in Oracle Database Administration- Oracle database installation, configuration, tuning and troubleshooting on versions Oracle10g and 11g.- Experience working with Dataguard and RAC- Database Backup and Recovery solutions including RMAN, Backup Scripts.- Prior experience working in a financial services environment strongly preferred.- Experience Managing Large Scale Projects- Excellent Communication Skills****There are two shifts available- Mon-Friday 7 am-4 pm or Mon-Friday 10 am-7 pm******* Join TEKsystems and get your career on the fast track.
