Job Description

What were looking for:

• Expert in K-12 curriculum/assessment with strong understanding of Common Core State Standards.


• Familiarity with XML content and/or content management systems.


• Experience building taxonomies and tagging content.

What youll do:

• Lead the effort to curate and organize content so it is meaningful and relevant to our users.


• Constantly improve and expand Learningpods content taxonomy as questions flow into the system.


• Evaluate content from potential partners and ensure content gaps are identified and closed.

Youll work in our downtown Manhattan office, located in the brand new WeWork Labs co-working space, with a diverse (and, dare we say, amazing) team thats solving interesting and challenging problems. Because of our relatively small size, youll have a lot of influence over what we build and how we build it.

What else? Were agile. We emphasize ad-hoc huddles over ceremonies, but we do have a daily stand-up and short planning sessions. Finally, we like open-source technologies and hope you do, too.
