Linux Network Engineer - Permanent at New York

Yoh has a direct hire opportunity for a Linux Network Engineer to join one of our leading clients in Manhattan, New York.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support level 1: daily support, helpdesk tickets, monitoring, maintenance and administration of various systems such as: server backups and troubleshooting, checking error logs and the escalation or reporting of critical issues to senior administrators.
• Configure and test servers, networking software and operating systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Conduct technical research on recurring issues and problems and present solutions to the team.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree is preferred in Computer Science or equivalent.
• One to two (1-2) years of experience.
