Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions for the Java Developer:

• Participates in the software design and software development of our product using Java
• Develop highly available distributed systems in the cloud
• Write unit & integration tests to ensure a high-quality, robust deliverables
• Ensures software developed is held to high quality standards through code and design reviews

Job Requirements

, Skills, and Educationfor the Java Developer:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, MIS, or related experience
• 1+ years total software development experience, preferably in Java
• Experience with OOP, OO Design and test patterns

Required (Must Have) Skillsfor the Java Developer:

• Knowledge of multiple technology platforms/languages:CoreJava, J2EE, Spring Framework, JSP/Servlets
• Desire to work with AWS, Storm, Cassandra, MongoDB, Apache Solr & Distributed Systems
• Exposure to Agile Development and SCRUM
• Experience with Python is a plus
• Experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus
• MUST be passionate about Technology and want to work with like-minded people
