A well-known client of ours from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for a contract opportunity.

• Responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing manufacturing processes required to assure on-time and cost effective delivery of medical diagnostic products.
• Selects and qualifies state of the art process technology for mechanical components.
• Works with suppliers to improve raw material quality and maintain a robust supply chain.
• Troubleshoots assembly issues to identify root cause and corrective action.
• Evaluates processes to improve product quality, reduce cost and improve employee safety.

Job Requirements

Ability to perform tasks related to analysis, execution, and support of transactional processes:

• B.E. in Mechanical.
• Two to five years experience in mechanical component/assembly fabrication
• Ability to interpret specification/drawings at detailed level.
• Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
